Groot Gees Rock Fees is what happens when Africa’s biggest rock&roll tour descends on the town of Stilbaai and invites some friends to come over. Staged in an idylic kloof on the 26th of December this is one of the coast’s most celebrated outdoor festivals.
2009’s Groot Gees Rock Fees saw over 3000 in attendance and an unbeatable line-up including Straatligkinders, Die Heuwels Fantasties, eF-eL, Van Coke Kartel, Tidal Waves, Zinkplaat, Thieve, City Bowl Mizers, Ryno Velvet, Mr. Cat & The Jackal, Die Tuindwergies and Baarmoedergevoel.
