The 2010 Wacky Wine Weekend is getting a whack attack with the second, back by popular demand, LOCO VINO ROCK SHOW!
The 5th of June sees a killer line-up coming together for an unforgettable jam at Wolvendrift Estate.
Legendary Afrikaans rocker Valiant Swart teams up with his old partner in blues, Albert Frost, enlisting the help of the Zinkplaat-gang, to round off what can only be explained in Afrikaans as “die willewragtigste konsert in die kontrei”.
Tickets are R80 pre-sold and R100 at the door. The party starts at 19:00 and is brought to you by neighbouring farms Goedverwacht and Wolvendrift.
2009’s first Loco Vino 2009 was sold out in a jiffy, so book early if you don’t fancy a quiet night of missing out.
Wolvendrift is not all about the show though. With its great wines, brand new vineyard terrace right on the Breede River, food stalls, cash bar and more entertainment it’s a must on every Wacky Weekender’s route.
