De Plate Kompanjie bied met trots die mooiste akoestiese fees in die land aan:
Raka Unplugged Music Festival
Headliners Arno Carstens & Albert Frost, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Tidal Waves, Zinkplaat, Basson Laubscher Blues All Stars en nog baie baie baie baie meer van die beste plaaslike talent het op die oewer van die Breërivier net buite Swellendam bymekaargekom vir ‘n naweek van musiek, kamp, kuier en swem.
Ander up-and-coming gees bands sluit Baarmoedergevoel, Die Einstes, 3rd World Spectator, Jo Ellis, Newton, Valskerm, Black Market Riots en Seisoen na Somer in.
DPK took over RAKA and in one year made it the Western Cape’s premier chill-out festival.
Festival goers spent the weekend lazing on the grass, swimming in the river, braaing, drinking, camping and listening to some of the countries premier musicians jamming it out acoustic style.
With high calibre sound provided by Sound Generation, and excellent camping facilities provided by Kambat’i, the stage was set for a weekend of maximum enjoyment.
Some of the highlights included Arno Carstens and Albert Frost’s set, Tidal Waves getting their acoustic groove on, Heuwels Fantasties triumphing over the rain and Basson Laubscher’s Blues Allstars featuring Albert Frost, Gerald Clark and The Orange Stilettos.
