Robertson Re-Launch Parties at Bohemia
Robertson Winery celebrated the re-launch of their “Boks vir Sports” box wines and they asked DPK to help organize the parties in Stellenbosch’s Bohemia.
The 6th of August saw the interdimensional sound pirates, Mr. Cat & The Jackal, taking the stage for their well known multi-instrumental grooves, rowdy lyrics and raucous performance.
The princes of party, The City Bowl Mizers, descended on the town on the 13th of August, and took the party into overdrive.

Zebra&Giraffe, One Sock Thief and Havoc Vultures joined forces in Pablo’s VIP Lounge & Bar on the 4th of June. -

Volume Rock Fest '09
Potch’s second annual alternative music festival, Volume Rock Fest, hit the locals on the 15th of May.
This year saw Trim Park burst at the seams with the best acts in the country converging on the student town.
Die Heuwels Fantasties, New Holland, Zinkplaat, Van Coke Kartel, The Pretty Blue Guns, Tidal Waves all played in front of more than 2000 music enthusiasts triumphing the freezing weather.

Zinkplaat het hulle “Hondeklipbaai” musiekvideo in ‘n verlate huis in die Helshoogte pas geskiet. Daar was 60 ekstras en ‘n groot crew.

Een van die grootste skole rock shows in Pretoria, met twee van DPK se bands, en meeste van ons vriende se bands op die line-up.

Die UBUNTOER II: Rock Against Racism '08
In Junie 2008 het Die Helde en Zinkplaat saam met DPK se nuutste groep, New Holland op ‘n Bundi trok geklim en na die Noorde gevaar vir ‘n week van volgepropte club shows.

Die tweede toer van sy soort en twee keer groter as die vorige een.

Die Ubuntoer '07
Die Ubuntoer was De Plate Kompanjie se mees suksesvolle infiltrasie van die Noorde.
Zinkplaat en Die Helde het oudergewoonte saamgespan en op ‘n trok geklim wat onder andere Bloemfontein, Bronkhorstspruit, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Potchefstroom en Smithfield besoek het.
Meeste van die konserte was uitverkoop en die toer is op twee opeenvolgende episodes van MK se AMP gedokumenteer.

De Plate Kompanjie in samewerking met Die Klein Libertas Teater het die Beyerskloof Musiekmarathon in Stellenbosch aangebied.

Die Eerste Avontoer '06
Na die sukses van die CD en die Launch was die logiese volgende stap om almal wat op die CD verskyn op ‘n toer te vat. De Plate Kompanjie het met kontakte in Mitchell’s Plain gekonkel en ‘n bus met ‘n drywer in die hande gekry. Gigs is van Hermanus tot in Port Elizabeth geskeduleer.
Zinkplaat, Die Helde, Foto Na Dans, Slagyster, The Orange Stilettos, Dikazzins en Sondag Sensasie is almal saam met ‘n klomp ekstra seerowers op een bus teen die kus uit.
Daar is gekamp, op sypaadjies geslaap, in die reën gejam, in die see gebad en orals musiek gemaak. Die enigste reël was dat enige iets wat oopgemaak word, moes in die sirkel omgestuur word. Ubuntu. -
Eeue-oue Melodie CD Launch '06
Die tweede projek was Die Helde se debuut CD launch. Die Hidden Cellar is op ‘n warm aan van vloer tot dak en muur tot muur volgepak. Hulle eerste video is ook daardie aand vir die eerste keer gewys.

Ons eerste projek was die opname van Die Eerste Avontuur Cd-samestelling. Hiervoor moes ons natuurlik ‘n groot partytjie op Stellenbosch reël om die hele affêre af te skop.
