Recordings and event video Capture planned for the way the footage will actually be used.

A recording for quick replay is different from footage for an editor, campaign or archive. DPK confirms the output before selecting the capture and handover workflow.

  • Programme recordings and isolated camera capture
  • Corporate interviews, talks and event video
  • Files for replay, editing, communications or archive

Plan the recording backwards from the final use.

The most useful production decisions come from knowing who needs the content, in which format and by when.

01

Capture and coverage

Camera positions, presentation material, interviews, stage action and programme audio are planned around the moments that must be retained.

02

Programme output and source files

The scope can include a switched programme recording, separate camera files, clean audio or other agreed source material for a post-production team.

03

Handover and future use

File formats, storage, transfer, naming and delivery timing are confirmed for replay, an editor, a communications team or an archive.

A good fit when

For content that must remain useful after the room clears.

  • Conference sessions, keynote talks and panels needed for on-demand viewing.
  • Performances, ceremonies or public programmes requiring a reliable archive.
  • Corporate interviews, presentations and internal communications content.
  • Events where an editor needs organised camera, audio or programme files.

Recordings and event video FAQ

Questions clients ask before production.

Clear handover expectations prevent the most common event recording problems.

Is event recording the same as live streaming?

No. A recording can be produced without a live online audience. When an event is both streamed and recorded, the two outputs should be planned together so the live programme and final files meet their different needs.

Does the service include video editing?

Editing can be included where it forms part of the agreed brief. Some clients only need a clean programme recording or organised source files for their own editor, while others need a finished video.

What files will we receive after the event?

That depends on the required use. The handover may include a programme recording, separate camera files, audio files, proxies or delivery-ready video. Formats and timing are confirmed before production.

Can DPK record corporate interviews or presentations?

Yes. DPK Media can plan camera, audio, prompting, presentation content and the required final output for corporate interviews, talks, training and communications content.
